We are very excited this term to welcome not only our Community Orchestra members, but also singers from the Cuckoo Choir, and students from Holy Trinity Primary School and Warden Park Secondary Academy to our summer concert.

Our Community Orchestra concerts are always informal and fun and a great introduction to classical music for audiences of all ages! There will be an interval with light refreshments and plenty of cake!

This concert will include a lively programme of repertoire for our Jubilee themed concert including: Water Music, James Bond Themes, Pomp and Circumstance, Folk Medley, Zadok the Priest and finally our very own Jubilee Song Cycle. This special work, was created by the Cuckoo Choir, and students from Holy Trinity Primary School and Warden Park Secondary Academy and arranged for our Community Orchestra and voices by Reza musician Anna Cooper.

The Jubilee Song Cycle has been made possible with funds from the Arts Council’s Jubilee Fund.
