Bringing musical discovery to your school
From Primary to A-level, mainstream and SEN schools we tailor bespoke projects for specific requirements.
Learning through creativity
Inspiring young people is core to Ensemble Reza’s ethos. We create a spark with all those we work with, raising the profile of music amongst students, schools and families; encouraging participants to challenge their creative boundaries and value the social benefits music making can provide.

Our school programmes have clear progression plans, combining regular and newly devised projects.
Primary Schools
-
These workshops develop and build the musical skills from previous sessions, giving year 9-10 students more independence to create their own music, working and performing alongside three of our professional musicians. These sessions culminate in both recording and performing opportunities for students.
-
We provide students with knowledge and skills through live demonstrations to compose for a range of instruments including string/wind/brass and percussion. Our musicians test composition ideas and perform finished pieces at the end of the course alongside students in an informal concert.
Secondary & Sixth Form
-
Interactive, friendly Ensemble Reza concerts introducing students to different sound worlds of classical, jazz, world and folk music told through stories, song and dance.
-
Creative Music-Making workshops help build and develop musical learning through interactive singing and percussion music making workshops
-
Transition choral workshops bring together Year 6 Primary students with Year 7 Secondary students, helping ease the transition for younger students
SEN Schools
-
Led by a SEN music specialist workshop leader alongside Ensemble Reza musicians, students from reception to sixth-form create a multi-media cross-curricular piece combining music, art and poetry, culminating in a final performance, with students performing alongside Ensemble Reza musicians.
There will be opportunities for mentoring on a 1:1 basis for those students who show a creative interest and want to be music leaders in their year group.
