Tea for Two (or was it 82?!)

The inclement weather on Sunday 20th October didn't deter a large crowd of friends and supporters of Ensemble Reza enjoying a fabulous afternoon of music in Ansty, along with a delicious cream tea and plenty of time to chat to members of the team - from the musicians to those all-important volunteers.

Demonstrating just why the group are so versatile - we were treated to music from Mozart to Duke Ellington, Fuchs to Brubeck, Beeftink to Bacharach, Gershwin to Reza's very own Anna Cooper - the annual Friends Concert was also a great opportunity to hear Managing Director, Hannah Carter talk about the amazing highlights of the year, which has seen 75 concerts, of which 33 were free including lunchtime concerts in Haywards Heath, Crawley and a series of afternoon concerts at St Catherine's Hospice Sussex and Surrey and Crawley Open House – to over 4000 people.

There really is something for everyone with Ensemble Reza! Please consider becoming a Friend to help ensure the future sustainability of their excellent work in our communities.

Thank you!
Adrian Barrott - Vice Chair
