SEN School projects
Project outline:
These projects bring together students from all school years to create a multi-media cross-curricular piece combining music, art and poetry. Projects culminate with a final performance to friends and parents at the school, with students performing alongside Ensemble Reza musicians. There will be opportunities for mentoring on a 1:1 basis for those students who show a creative interest and want to be music leaders in their year group. Projects will be led by an SEN music specialist workshop leader alongside four Ensemble Reza musicians.
Projects aims to include:

For teachers to have the confidence to use the school technology especially the Soundbeam in future creative music making sessions with the students.
For parents to have the opportunity to see the positive impact socially, emotionally and educationally participating in an arts project can have on their child.
Reach: In five days can:
Run: 1 workshop
Enthuse: 80 young people
Inspire: 30+ teachers

“The musicians were very skilled and communicated with our students in a manner which ignored their disabilities and simply honed in on what they could do and enabled them to feel completely involved”
