Composition Workshops
Project outline:
These sessions are an opportunity for up to four Ensemble Reza together with our wider pool of professional musicians to provide students with the knowledge and skills through live demonstrations to compose for a range of instruments including string/wind/brass and percussion. Throughout these workshops there is a healthy and relaxed dialogue between our musicians, teachers and students as composition ideas are tried and tested. This project culminates in both recording and performing opportunities for students.
Projects aims to include:
To inspire and raise the aspirations of talented young adults, who are studying music at a higher level.
To give students first hand experience, writing for a range of musical instruments to a set deadline.
To continue to give young people the opportunity to experience the social benefits of a music making project (raising self esteem, confidence, empowering, resilience etc).
Reach: In three days we can:
Run: 6 workshops

Inspire: 4 teachers
