We were thrilled to welcome back solo accordionist Iñigo Mikeleiz Berrade to our concert series on Tuesday 26th January for a special concert of music from all over the world performed live from Spain!

Born in 1994 in Barañáin (Navarra), Iñigo studied in the Conservatory of Music in Navarra with Nekane Iturrioz and the Royal Academy of Music in London under Professor Owen Murray. He has performed in different European countries and venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Albert Hall or Wigmore Hall. Among the instrumental ensembles he has played with are the Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Glyndebourne Youth Opera. Iñigo enjoys collaboration with contemporary composers, which has led to the première of new works for different ensembles and art forms, including two accordion concertos. He is member of the Diphonon Duo, with violist Michael Iskas, and a usual collaborator at Wigmore Hall Learning Department. Web: www.inigomikeleiz.com
