#44: Rosemary Hinton and Jonathon Ayling
We were delighted to welcome our good friends violinist, Rosemary Hinton and cellist Jonathan Ayling to our Midday Music series on Tuesday 1st February for a programme of beautiful duets by Beethoven, Bach, Mozart and finishing with a special surprise!
Rosemary Hinton is a UK based violinist, born in Ipswich Suffolk. She studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London and has since gone on to freelance with chamber and symphony orchestras around the country. She is 2nd violinist of Ensemble Mirage - Making Music Award Selected Artists 2020 - and is violinist of the newly formed Duo Hellier alongside her fiancé and cellist, Jonathan Ayling.
Jonathan Ayling is Co-Principal Cello of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. As a chamber musician he has performed as part of the Aldeburgh Festival, as well as at prestigious venues including Wigmore Hall, London and Carnegie Hall, New York. Jonathan has played Guest Principal Cello with many of the UK’s leading orchestras and is a regular recital and concerto soloist.
