Audience spellbound!

Broadfield, Crawley was treated to a stunning programme of music at lunchtime today. Lucy Jeal and Matthew Quenby, who had both had eventful journeys to get to the venue, wowed us once again with their exquisite, lyrical playing, performing a series of duos by Haydn, Mexican composer Manuel Ponce, Johan Halvorsen and ending on a very reflective note with a piece by Florence Price, arranged beautifully by Lucy.

It was wonderful to witness the interplay between Matt and Lucy as they performed and introduced each piece, all of which were so different in character and held the audience spellbound.

We are very much looking forward to our final lunchtime concert of the year at Broadfield on Wednesday 11th December. It will be a performance of The Snowman, performed by the Reza sextet and narrated by our very own Anna Cooper. Miss it at your peril!
